People renting these homes are often busy, and they don’t have a lot of time to look for properties. So, they call a Realtor and tell them what they’re looking for. The Realtor will use the MLS to help them find rentals. If your property is below the $1,500 mark, the MLS may not be the best strategy. Online sites are more viable. You need to know how to target your tenants when you’re marketing.

Pictures are critical. Great pictures will get people interested in your property. Six to eight pictures that are crisp, good shots can tell a quick story. Video is even better. One of the best ways to market your property is by creating a YouTube video. This is easy to do and you can do geo-tagging and meta-tagging so your property is picked up much easier and quicker and exposed to more people.
